Pictures from our Easter holidays

The Orthodox Easter was on the 15th of April.
We went out of town for four days.
Pelion is our favorite destination.
Mountains and  beautiful beaches
I want to share with you some pictures from Pelion.
Two days before Easter the weather was cloudy and windy.
The tradition says that every Good Friday God cries for Jesus and that's why the weather is raining.
But the Easter day the weather was great. We had our Easter lunch outside and we enjoy the sun.

St Kyriaki. A small fish village at Pelion.

St Kyriaki. Fish tavern. They let the octopus dry outside
and then they cook them on fire. All the week before Easter we don't eat any meat
or dairy products. Vegetables, pasta, fresh salads, sea food.

As we leaving St Kyriaki.

The view from our car.

On the way back to Agria. Our hotel was in Agria.

From St Kyriaki to Agria was two hours driving.

The view from our hotel room.

The sunset from our hotel room

The other side of Pelion. The Mountains.
Cool waters and a lot of trees.

Mylopotamos beach. We try to visit Mylopotamo every time we visit Pilion. Winter or summer. If the weather let us, because during the winter there is too much snow.

Imany - You will never know

This song plays on the ipod all day long. Again and again.
Her voice calms me and makes me smile :)
Great song from a great artist.
She was born in France. She is from Africa and her real name is Nadia Mladjao.
Imany means faith. her songs are romantic, nostalgic and sensitive!
Listen to her song and let the music carry you away!

Imany you will never know!

At a previous post I told you about a project my new home office  !
Today I 'm going to saw you some pictures of it.
It's not complete. I need to add some personal touches and a  chair!
For now I will share with you some pics from my new space which I create in my kitchen!
Where I blog now :)

Before

An old black office from Ikea! It was a stock item!

After

My little space! My corner!
Where I blog!

Instead of a black board I used an old wooden tray!
I don't have a before picture but the colour of the tray was brown

My son gave me this Valentine's card ! He did it at school!

The small aqua vase is from Zara Home.
The candle is a baptism favor of a family friend.
The stone is from Mylopotamos beach.
I found it as it is with the shells stuck on it!

The space between the cabinet and the gypsum board is 31,5 inches (81,5 cm)
Enough space for one person :)

I need to find a chair for it. Now I use a chair from the dinning table!

New addition to my kitchen

One of my first posts was about my  kitchen .
I don't have a small kitchen but I wanted more space.
So a few months ago  I did a small construction to my kitchen!
I added a shelf made from gypsum board and
a  wall made also from gypsum board
( I wanted to create a corner for my home office ).
With the addition of the shelf
I succeed what I wanted and the result was really good!

Easter candles

In Greece it's a tradition godmothers and godfathers to buy to their godchildren Easter candles (lampades), which they light them at the church the Orthodox  holy Saturday! It's not just a simple candle. This candles are decorated with ribbons, flowers, dolls, etc. Do you know about this tradition?

This Easter candles are made by Georgia at lucky-button
